Start with intention, not intensity.
Daily / Gentle Dose: 10–20g
Perfect for a daily ritual, light heart opening, and calm, focused energy (great as a coffee alternative).
Standard Ritual Dose: 20–30g
Supports deeper connection, presence, and emotional awareness without being overwhelming.
Ceremonial Dose: 30–40g
A fuller experience for meditation, journaling, or inner work. Best taken in a quiet, intentional space.
Note that this Cacao will come as natural chunks, and each bag will vary in colour, texture and taste due to the nature of the product.
How to Prepare your Cacao
I like to start by measuring my plant-based milk (with the cup I'll be using, usually 250ml - 300ml) and then place the milk into a pot on the stove. The more milk you use, the less "thick" the texture of the liquid. You can use water, or less milk, experiment to see which you prefer.
I'll then add in the shaved Cacao (20g - 25g as I drink this daily) and some maple syrup (1/2 TBSP) for sweetness.
Once I can see the Cacao has "melted" somewhat, I'll use a whisk to blend everything together. Do not let it boil! Once it starts to simmer - quickly grab it off the element (so it doesn't boil over).
You can add things like cinnamon, honey/maple syrup, a pinch of salt and even some chill powder! Experiment with flavour profiles until you find one that you like.
Ensure you take a moment to slow down, breathe, and set an intention before drinking.
